Review: Reggae Hut

I was a huge fan of the original Reggae Hut at least of the food anyway. The broccoli and beef was some of the best food I have ever tasted in Houston. Unfortunately either due to bad management or the infamous customer service the Reggae Hut closed down. Well the folks over at The Breakfast Klub bring you the new edition. Gone are the bad attitudes replaced with the customer service that The Breakfast Klub is known for. The menu is rather limited but the folks over at the Reggae Hut promise to keep adding to it as work out all the kinks. The initial rendition of the Reggae Hut was probably a little more brighter inside, this current edition choose darker colors inside. This does not hinder the mood of the place as you go in and hear your favorite reggae jams. You get the feel that you are actually in a traditional Caribbean restaurant. As far as the menu goes of course you have your jerk chicken on the menu as well as my favorite ox tails, the ox tails were seasoned to perfection and the size portions should be big enough to fill any man's stomach. The rice was absolutely tasty.

Other than the limited menu the Reggae Hut is back and should be added to your favorite spots in Houston.
